Armstrong House pupils with Chloe Dyble
Bramcote Junior School pupils in Scarborough have raised a staggering £2,455.35 for Macmillan during their Charity Week.
The event was organised by Armstrong House, one of four houses at Bramcote Junior School, Scarborough, with the help of teacher Mrs Julie Grant. 82 junior school pupils took part in sporting challenges and running cake sales. There was also a sponsored swim and a fun run.
Chloe Dyble, a Macmillan volunteer, was there to receive the cheque in the final assembly on Wednesday 27 March.
Mrs Grant says, ‘The whole week was a great success thanks to Armstrong House, all the pupils and staff of Bramcote Junior School and the overwhelming generosity of the parents, other family members and friends who sponsored the children. Altogether £2,455.35 was raised for Macmillan.’
