Sturtons staff members at their Macmillan Fun Day
Sturtons and Tappers of Winton held a Macmillan Fun Day at their store in May and raised over £1,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support in their centenary year.
Staff dressed up for the fun occasion and the store was decorated in carnival fashion with balloons, bunting and live music.
Lots of activities took place including a silent auction with some wonderful items having been donated and a morning and an afternoon raffle with at least a dozen prizes in each one.
Various competitions including quickest time bed making, guess the weight of the cake, treasure map hunt and how many balloons can you get in a wardrobe were held throughout the day.
Tea, coffee and cakes were on sale at the front of the store along with a muffin making demonstration.
