Hive Beach Cafe winter scene for the calendar which is raising money for Macmillan
The Hive Beach Cafe, Beach Road, Burton Bradstock, Dorset, DT6 4RF has produced a fabulous pictorial calendar for 2012 in association with Graham Wiffen Photography.
All profits from the sale will go to Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Bill Attrill who passed away recently. His son Steve, owner of the Hive, said: "Our families would very much like to continue supporting the wonderful work of Macmillan and the help the organisation gives to those with cancer."
Steve's wife Debbie and Hive chef, Barry George, will undertake separate sponsored sporting events in 2012 to boost funds further. Chrissie Wathen-Neal, Macmillan Fundraising Manager for Dorset, acknowledges the efforts "Thank you so much for your support and for all the exciting challenges that you have all set yourselves."
Graham Wiffen is both business manager at the Hive and a professional photographer who regularly captures the wonderful views and vistas around Burton Bradstock, West Bay and further afield. Earlier this year he received a commendation for one of his images in the Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition.
