Fundraisers Gary Todd and George Campell of The Beckfields Pub, Stockton-on-Tees got together to raise funds in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and raised a fantastic £2,100.
The Beckfields fundraisers Gary Todd and George Campbell got together once again to raise funds for people affected by cancer in their local area. After deciding to raffle a turkey hamper on Sunday 18 December two weeks later they had 27 prizes donated by the customers and the pub which is such a great response in such a short time.
They would like to pay a special thanks to Mr Dennis Warriner, who donated a TV/DVD player for the raffle, Mr Colin Brown, who donated two flights to London and two nights stay in a five star hotel, and Mr James Munro who donated a golf day for four people at Wynyard Golf Club for the auction.
Also auctioned were two rickets for a Bruce Springsteen concert, which was kindly donated by an anonymous customer.
The Auction made £800 which gave a fantastic total of £2,100.The customers of the pub did a great job in helping out The Beckfields.
