On 28 September the staff at HMP Frankland Prison got together to raise funds for Macmillan.
The staff have been holding coffee mornings for Macmillan since 1993, raising a total almost £3,000.
Michelle Muir, Fundraising Manager, went along to meet all the staff and have a coffee and cake with them in their office that they turned into a make shift cafe. There was a raffle and all the staff came along in their break time to donate to Macmillan. All the cakes were made or bought by the staff.
The amount they raised was match funded by the prison service charity fund, with a total of £630 being raised.
Michelle Muir said: 'It was lovely to meet the staff at the prison, they made me feel very welcome.'
