A grand day out
The Grand Tour: Cape to Capers is the brainchild of experienced historic rally and classic trials exponent, Dennis Greenslade. A proud Cornishman, Dennis has won a record number of Triple Awards and several National Classic Trials Championships.
As a navigator Dennis has achieved several top ten positions in international historic rallies including winning the Rally of the Tests, a re-creation of the RAC British International Rallies of the fifties.
Now in its seventh year the tour raised just over £43,000, bringing the total raised by the Cape to Capers to an astounding £365,000 in total.
Not resting on his laurels, Dennis this year plans to go ‘purely continental' with a tour starting from Cabo Penas in Spain to Cap Feret on the west coast of France. This is something that Dennis is concocting along with fellow Cornishman Philip Mitchell to celebrate Macmillan's centenary.
