St Michael's Mount, Cornwall
Join us on the 10th anniversary walk organised by the Rotary Club of Mount’s Bay. Go coast to coast across Cornwall and enjoy the stunning views on this well known trail. Or explore the foreshore and surrounding countryside. The choice is yours!
Length: 12 miles linear and 3.5 miles circular walks.
12 miles start at 9 am and 9.30 am
3.5 miles midday

Starting from: The Rope Walk Car Park, Marazion
12 mile route:
Mainly tracks and footpaths over open farmland with occasional steep slopes, a stream crossing, some stiles and quiet country lanes
3.5 mile route:
Mainly surfaced paths and footpaths
Dogs: Yes, please keep on a lead when livestock are present
Suitable for wheelchairs: No
Suitable for pushchairs: No
Minimum age: The 12 mile route may challenge younger children, parental or guardian discretion is advised for the under 12s.
Registration fee: £10, under 16s go free
About the walk
The 12 mile walk has superb views. Starting at St Uny’s Church, Lelant you will follow the historic footpath across the South West Peninsula finishing at Marazion with the spectacular backdrop of St Michael’s Mount.
Parking in Marazion is included in the event registration fee and you will be taken on the free bus to the start point at Lelant.
The shorter 3.5 mile walk will lead you along the Marazion foreshore towards Long Rock before meandering through the surrounding countryside and Nature Reserve leading you back to Marazion.
All sponsorship raised at this walk will be equally shared between Macmillan and the Rotary Club of Mount’s Bay.
