At the age of 62, Local Nantwich businessman and Winterley resident, Geoff Bonnett, has confessed that he has lost his marbles! He has decided to walk the entire 630 mile length of the South West Coastal Path having just sleep breaks and maybe the odd day to recover from any foot sores. His target is to complete the trek in a little over six weeks. Most walkers tend to complete the hike in sections oftenspread over a number of visits each year. The South West Coastal Path Guide states that a minimum of eight weeks should be allowed so therefore this represents a testing challenge - but Geoff has a real burning desire and in centive to stick to the task - fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
