2011 is a time to celebrate and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity is celebrating it’s 100th birthday, and a local Wisbech man, Daniel Coleman is doing just that.
On 31 December 2010, Daniel Coleman decided enough was enough, it was time to ditch the beer and saturated fats and hit the gym all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. At the stroke of midnight, 1 January 2011 Mr Gymcredible was born.
After losing family members to cancer My Gymcredible wanted to express his gratitude to Macmillan Cancer Support, and what better time than their special centenary year. So Mr Gymcredible took the plunge and contacted the local Fundraising Office in St.Neots, Cambridgeshire.
Amongst various other challenges, Mr Gymcredible is taking part in Body Challenge 2011. The competition is based entirely upon how much a person can transform their physique in a 3 month period. The winner of the competition win’s 2 Tickets to the 2011 Mr Olympia Competition in Las Vegas including flights and accommodation. If MrGymCredible wins the competition he will be auctioning the trip to Las Vegas to the highest bidder – all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Cyclists of all ages and abilities can sign up as the event features 3 different options: A serious road challenge: a hilly road cycling challenge of 100km for 100 years of Macmillan Cancer Support, A mountain bike challenge: a choice of two off-road challenges, for off-road cyclists with some experience and a fun cycling event for families and hobby cyclists.
