We are Macmillan. Cancer Support
The World Frog Racing Championships are your chance to get involved in something quirky, fun for all the family and free to attend, while raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Expecting little critters on lily pads? Think again. This race is between eight-foot-tall cut outs, being hauled by teams of five across the finish line to take the title. It really does have to be seen to be believed.
The World Championship is holding its 17th annual frog race at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium on Thursday 20 June. The doors open at 6.30pm with the first of the frog races starting at 7pm. There are still limited places available for groups of five to enter a team (believe us when we say no experience is necessary) or alternatively, just come along on the night, pick a team to support and cheer them home. For those that fancy a flutter, there will be a tote running and light meals will be available along with a full bar service.
For further details of the event or on entering a team, call Dale Asplin on 07711198391 or visit the website theworldfrogracingchampionship.com|
