Mark Breedon on far right
Mark Breeden has completed the ultimate cycling challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Pyrenees Raid is 750 km, with 11km of climbing from the Atlantic to the Med and is certainly no mean feat. But Mark completed the challenge within the 100 hours time limit and crucially got his pass book stamped at key points along the popular route.
The route is spectacular but tough, climbing some of the most iconic cols in France-nearly all of them Tour de France regulars and cycled by some of the world's fittest athletes. The challenge certainly paid off, and Mark has raised an absolutely fantastic £1,400 so far.
We would like to congratulate Mark on this tremendous achievement, and say a great big thank you for doing it for Macmillan Cancer Support.
And if you fancy a gentler but equally as exciting cycling event, take a look at www.macbike.org.uk
