From Havana to Trinidad via the Escambray Mountains - this brand new jungle and mountain trek across Cuba is not to be missed.
Think Cuba’s all about sandy beaches, cigars and Havana rum? Think again. This brand new Macmillan trek takes us from the historic city of Havana on the north coast right across the island to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Trinidad on the south coast.
To get there we’ll cross the majestic Escambray Mountains, passing through rainforest, coffee plantations and mango orchards as we go. The terrain will be tough, the days long and the climbs challenging, but the abundant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, team camaraderie, and awe-inspiring views will make every step well worth the effort.
By joining Macmillan for this incredible challenge you’ll help us support people affected by cancer during the toughest fight of their lives.
