This year we're inviting everyone to get involved in the Longest Day Golf Challenge, whether they are serious golfers or not.
We've come up with a couple of suggestions for alternative ways to take part without hitting the real fairways. You could either keep things really simple or let your imagination run riot.
Get a group of mates together and play 72 holes on your games console. A real golfing marathon, but in the warm! All the money you save by staying in instead of going to the pub could form the basis of a donation to Macmillan.
Unfortunately, virtual challenge participants are not eligible for event prizes.
