In 2010, over 300 teams took part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge and raised £335,000 to help people living with cancer.
Teams from all across the UK teed off at first light and battled the elements until dusk, all making a real difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families.
The top four teams were invited to take part in the finals competition at Boavista Golf Resort from 10-12 October 2010. The Trips’ won a closely contested final to leave the final results:
1st - The Trips
2nd - Sebsmen
3rd - Three men and a ginger
4th - The Bipasha Boys
The finalists all enjoyed two nights accommodation at the luxury resort, two rounds of golf with buggies and return Monarch flights| from the UK.
