The 100km cycle begins amid the capital's landmarks before heading through the Hertfordshire countryside as you start your ascent through rural towns and villages into Cambridgeshire. There won't be many more welcoming finish lines, as the sun comes up on Cambridge and you tuck into your well earned breakfast.
