There is no minimum sponsorship target for Cycletta, so we are grateful for any amount of money you can raise. We have found taht £50 is a great initial target to aim for, and is really achievable. £50 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for two hours, providing vital emotional and practical support to people diagnosed with cancer. Set yourself the £50 target, and once you get there- just keep going! We'll give you all the encouragement and support you'll need to make your fundraising successful.
Cycletta challenges are major fundraising events for Macmillan Cancer Support. Your support will go a huge way to help people affected by cancer, for example

Any type of standard bike is suitable for a Cycletta event, so use the style you are most comfortable with. The only requirement is that it is in good, working order. If you don’t have a bike, or are not sure of the condition of your current one, then there is a comprehensive guide on the Cycletta website|. You must also remember to bring your helemt to the event, but we reccomend you wear it at all times for training too!
If you are injured while training we recommend you contact your GP or a specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise you if you are fit enough to take part. If you do need to withdraw you will need to notify the event organisers as soon as possible. Please let Team Macmillan know that you will not be taking part.
