Give as you earn
Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.
For example, if you donate £10, only £8 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest. Or if you're on a higher tax rate (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest.
How you'll be helping
By giving from your salary each payday, you will be helping us to provide vital resources and services throughout the UK. The fact that we know how much and how often you will donate means that we can budget effectively and plan ahead. And you will know that Macmillan is able to make the best use of your regular, tax-free donation.
How your money helps people living with cancer
If you give us £5 a month, the money that you give us in one year could pay for a liquidiser for someone who can't eat solid food because of the treatment they are going through.
If you give us £10 a month, the money that you give us in one year could pay for new clothing for someone experiencing weight loss or pay for a Macmillan nurse for one day.
If you give us £30 a month, the money that you give us in one year could pay for a much-needed holiday for someone with cancer and their carer.
