Macmillan grants provide much needed financial support for people living with cancer. Help us to provide more grants and support even more people across the UK.
It costs £189 to help people living with cancer heat their home when they really need it. If you are able to help please give| whatever you can to help fund more grants for people living with cancer.
We give around 400 Macmillan grants a week to people who are struggling financially because of their cancer diagnosis, but the reality is that there are many more people out there who also desperately need this type of support.
Due to the current economic climate, the demand for our grants has risen significantly. So much so that we’ve had to reduce the amount we give, on average, from £360 to £325. And when you’re struggling to pay your travel fares to get to hospital, £30 is a lot of money.
By giving a donation today, you can help to fund a Macmillan grant that would simply improve a person’s life.
The money you give could help reduce the threat of a family losing their home, ensure someone gets to hospital for treatment, or allow someone to turn the heating on whenever they’re feeling cold.
Cancer is a devastating illness in more ways than people often realise. As well as affecting a person physically and emotionally, it can also hit them extremely hard financially.
