Our father past away in 2005 from stomach cancer and for the last 6 weeks or so, he was at home and Macmillan were there 24 hours a day. We had a nurse through the night, we had a nurse come and relieve that person in the morning and they were just amazingly helpful and supportive. So we thought that we could definitely do our bit

We are running because we were helped very much by the fantastic Macmillan Cancer Support Team, because my husband Paul, a great dad and a great inspiration, tragically he contracted cancer and he wanted to be nursed at home. And so Paul had a very peaceful, happy end where he wanted to be and we are very proud to be here and support them

I ran the race with a pram, with Theo in the pram for the whole 10k. It was hard work with mummy pushing the pram, but it was good fun

Awww the atmosphere was absolutely amazing, it was so cool just seeing everyone together, and you really felt an amazing energy of everyone being really enthusiastic about the same cause, and its just wonderful

Its really nice having all the people at the markers cheering you on, because you feel like, oh I cant possibly run and then someone will be like YEY! It was great

(Music)
