Macmillan is working in partnership with TONI&GUY| to train their stylists as Strength in Style| consultants, to provide specialist hair advice and support to people affected by cancer.
The Strength in Style initiative develops the skills of stylists in TONI&GUY salons to ensure they are better equipped to deal with the emotional and practical issues surrounding the sensitive nature of hair loss before, during and after cancer treatment.
The pilot programme launched in April 2009 and is now being rolled out across the UK. There are now over 100 salons offering the service nationwide.
Here is a list of the participating TONI&GUY salons. Please continue to check this site for details of additional salons taking part as more are trained up throughout the year.
The initial consultation is free of charge where you can talk to a specially trained stylist, this includes guidance and advice on any hair care and styling techniques going forward.
