The first step in dealing with your debts is to make sure you have as much money coming in as possible.
One of the main ways to do this is to check your entitlement to state benefits|, which are paid by the government or your local council. You can also apply for grants, make an insurance claim (if you have insurance) or draw from your pension (if possible).
