How we produce our information|
For many people, treatment will completely cure their lymphoma. Other people, however, may find that their lymphoma comes back. If this happens, it may be possible to give more treatment with the aim of curing the disease. Usually this would be chemotherapy| or radiotherapy|, or a combination of both, or high-dose treatment|. The treatment you are given if the lymphoma comes back will partly depend upon what treatment you had initially and where it has come back.
Even if it is not possible to cure the lymphoma, treatment can be given to shrink the lymph glands and control it to keep you well, often for long periods of time.
