How we produce our information|
Chronic myeloid leukaemia is an illness that you can have for a long time. Treatment nowadays is effective and can keep the leukaemia under control for many years. In some people who have an allogeneic bone marrow transplant| it can be cured.
After your treatment you will need to have regular check-ups and blood tests. If you have any problems, or notice any new symptoms between these times, let your doctor know as soon as possible.
