You have the right to choose where you are treated for cancer. It might help you to make your decision if you can look at information about hospitals near you and the care they offer.
You might also need to make a decision about what treatment to have if there are different types available. Everyone is different and it’s up to you how much information you need to help you make a decision. Some people want to find out as much as they can about each option while others prefer to know just a little.
We can’t advise you on the best hospital or the best treatment for you, but we can provide information and support to help you understand what your choices are.
Enter your postcode into the box on the choosing your treatment and care homepage| to find information about your local hospitals.
We’ve put together some questions that might help you to talk about the information in this section with your healthcare professionals. You'll see relevant questions at the bottom of each hospital's results page. Asking these questions could help you to get the most from your cancer treatment and services.
We also have more information about some questions| that it might be helpful to ask at other times, for example when you are having tests for cancer.
All of our information is high quality, up-to-date, written by specialists and reviewed by people affected by cancer.
