It can be difficult to find a trial to take part in. Our cancer support specialists| can give you information about current trials.
You can search for trials both in the UK and abroad on websites, such as:
If you’d like to take part in a clinical trial, you should discuss this with the doctors or nurses who are treating you. They may know of a trial that would be suitable for you. However, hospitals don’t always have the facilities or expertise to take part in some trials, so you may have to travel to a different hospital.
If you’ve been invited to take part in a clinical trial, you may be introduced to a research nurse. They can tell you all about the trial and answer your questions.
