Take part in research
Macmillan conducts research to better understand people affected by cancer, and we often ask people affected by cancer to respond to surveys and questionnaires to help us with our work.
Please check back soon for live research opportunities.
Sometimes we ask our network of Cancer Voices if they'd like to help us with focus groups or questionaires. If you'd like to find out more about becoming a Cancer Voice please read our FAQs.
Helping you to get involved in research
Have you ever wanted to get involved with research, but don’t know where to start? Are you a researcher who would like to involve users in your research, but don’t know how to recruit and train them?
Macmillan runs a free course called ‘Building Research Partnerships’ which outlines the different types of research methods and terminology. It also explains how the public can get involved as well as exploring the issues related to becoming and being a consumer involved in cancer research.

Other ways to get involved
Macmillan campaigns for a better deal for people affected by cancer. We want everyone with cancer to receive the right level of treatment and support, regardless of who they are and where they live.
If you have a spare minute or two, please check out our latest campaigns and consider taking action.
