Macmillan Cancer Support and npower have been working together since 2004, with the partnership now valued at a staggering £8.5 million.
2014 marks the ten year anniversary of our award-winning partnership with npower, and during that time we’ve been able to make a dramatic difference to the lives of people affected with cancer.
Our partnership has grown to be worth a staggering £8.5 million, a testament to the long-standing commitment that npower has made to supporting people affected by cancer with their energy bills.
But our partnership is about much more than money – it is about working together with a joint aim: to help people affected by cancer that are facing fuel poverty.
And we’ve done this together in a number of ways:
Our joint Fuel Management Programme helps npower customers living with cancer by reducing their bills at a time when their income may have dropped. To date npower has unlocked over £1 million in funds to help over 2,000 npower customers heat their homes.
npower also fund the new Energy Advice team on the Macmillan Support Line, who help people living with cancer manage their fuel bills.
