Macmillan Cancer Support’s partnership with New Look kicked off in April 2010 with the launch of the ‘Macmillan Rocks' range of T-shirts and bags, just in time for the festival season.
The range, inspired by retro designs and in a choice of fun colours for both men and women, offered the perfect casual look for festival goers and raised £60,000 to help people affected by cancer. Building on this success, New Look launched two more T-shirt designs in 2011.
Back on the shop floor, New Look employees have really got stuck in by volunteering their time to help raise even more cash for Macmillan. New Look staff across the country have joined the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning |and volunteered at Macmillan’s Brick Lane Takeover. Additionally, in 2011 one of New Look’s fashion designers took Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to the Great Wall of China.
We have been voted New Look’s charity of the year again for 2012. We look forward to seeing what the team pull out of the bag this year with their fundraising for people affected by cancer.
