Kenco has been our Official Coffee Partner, fuelling The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the past three years.
As well as getting staff involved in exciting fundraising events such as the Moonriders London to Brighton challenge, this year Kenco offered devoted drinkers the chance to win their ‘Biggest Ever Coffee Morning’.
Kenco asked Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning| hosts to explain in just 100 words how they would make their coffee morning even bigger, spreading the Macmillan magic far and wide. Three lucky winners from across the UK were granted their wish: Colin Durrant from Coventry, Ann Oates from Warrington and Nazma Begum from Manchester were able to put on a coffee break fit for a king.
Ann’s local community centre became the Ritz for a day, getting community spirit flowing in Warrington with fine china, cakes and of course Kenco coffee.
Nazma literally took Macmillan to the masses by making her coffee morning mobile. Hosting her Coffee Morning on board a big red bus for the local community to hop on and hear about the work we do.
For the past three years, we’ve been committed to working with Macmillan to change the lives of people affected by cancer. Being the official coffee partner of World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a great opportunity to get our staff involved as well as supporting Macmillan’s fundraising Steph Okell, Brand Manager at Kenco

Colin went all out and doubled his Coffee Morning credentials by hosting two – one for his office and one for local groups and businesses, the Lord Mayor even got involved.
Kenco also encouraged 100,000 customers to text a donation to Macmillan with details on vending machine cups across the UK. Loyalty customers can also turn their reward points into money| for Macmillan between October and December.
Adding all this together, Kenco has helped to raise £350,000 for Macmillan since the partnership began three years ago.
