Coral mans up for Macmillan.
We always want to find ways to reach new audiences and talk to them about cancer and Macmillan’s services and support.
So when Coral bookmakers came on board as partners earlier this year, we were chuffed. Coral has literally opened their doors to us by providing cancer information in all of its 1,700 stores across the UK and to its employees. With an 85% male customer base that come from a lower socio-economic group, Coral will be helping us to provide cancer information to some of the hardest to reach people the UK, who tend to not proactively seek help.
In addition Coral has been cracking on with some brilliant fundraising activities. So far this year, Coral bookies took the rough with the smooth for Macmillan when they braved the heat and got stripped in a sponsored leg wax. Other members of staff traded in their trousers for skirts as they sported women’s clothes for a ‘Lads to Ladies’ day.
