Put a smile on your mug and help Macmillan Cancer Support! This year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning takes place on Friday 24 September, however you can help raise money throughout August and September simply by popping in to your local M&S Cafe – the new Official Partner of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Between Wednesday 4 August and Saturday 25 September, M&S will donate 10% of the value of a selection of sandwiches and sweet treats at its M&S Cafes. In addition, to celebrate the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on 24 September, M&S Cafes will donate 50p for every coffee sold, all to help raise £8million to help Macmillan continue providing services, which help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
Once you’ve enjoyed the M&S Cafe experience, you won’t be able to resist signing up to host your own World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event. It couldn’t be easier – sign up, then check out Macmillan’s website for recipes, grab the apron, create chaos in the kitchen and whip up a frenzy of mouth-watering treats for your guests. Whether you do it at work, in the pub, at the cricket club or around your kitchen table, anyone can help Macmillan continue to provide vital services which help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
Two million people in the UK are living with cancer, and one in three will be diagnosed during their lifetime. Every donation, whether 50p or £50, will help Macmillan continue providing much needed support. This could be practical help with everyday tasks, financial advice and assistance to help with the unexpected costs of cancer, emotional support or expert medical care from a Macmillan professional.
