Strictly stars Jo Wood, Lynda Bellingham and host Claudia Winkleman are letting us in on their sweetest recipes to support Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraiser, World's Biggest Coffee Morning, on Friday 25 September.
These dancefloor queens will be joining over two million people in baking up a treat and making their coffee count this September to help Macmillan improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

'I absolutely love Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Cake and friends? One word. Genius.'
Claudia’s butter biscuits will feed an army and at £2.50 for 50 treats, there’s no need to worry about numbers. And they’re so easy to make that kids can join in too.
Organic dancing queen Jo Wood’s lavender shortbread recipe can be found at www.macmillan.org.uk/recipes| (as well as her fabulous coffee tray at £25) and to catch Lynda baking up a classic Victoria Sponge, visit www.macmillan.org.uk/lynda|. You’ll find her cooking away alongside Michelin starred chef Thierry Laborde of The Kitchen, Parsons Green.
Two million people in the UK are currently living with cancer, and one in three will be diagnosed with it during their lifetime. Each and every donation whether 50p or £50 will help Macmillan’s ambition to provide support to everyone affected by cancer. This could be practical help with everyday tasks that become hard to financial advice to help with the unexpected costs that cancer brings.
