Harrods is launching a special blend of green tea and a signature coffee to help celebrate Macmillan Cancer Support’s 100th anniversary. Every penny from the sale of these exclusive products will go towards Macmillan’s vital work to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
The Harrods Green Organic Loose Leaf Tea comes from the Idulgashinna Estate in the Uva region of Ceylon in Sri Lanka. The hand-rolled leaves produce a delicate light green brew that is exceptionally sweet and clean, with a hint of apricot.
Harrods Signature blend omni-grind coffee, a blend of Ethiopian and El Salvador coffee beans, is fantastically smooth and balanced, with light floral and berry notes at the outset with a hint of jasmine blossoms. This is followed up with a sweet and creamy texture.
Bruce Langlands, Director of the Food Halls at Harrods, said:
“We’re delighted to be able to help Macmillan Cancer Support celebrate its 100th birthday with the launch of these limited edition caddies. We know our customers will appreciate the opportunity to enjoy this exceptional tea and coffee all in support of Macmillan.”
Two million people in the UK are living with cancer, and one in three will be diagnosed during their lifetime. Every tin from this special range of tea or coffee sold will help Macmillan continue providing much needed support. This could be practical help with everyday tasks, financial advice and assistance to help with the unexpected costs of cancer, emotional support or expert medical care from a Macmillan professional.
Charles Byrne, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events Macmillan Cancer Support said:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Harrods, helping us to celebrate this important milestone in the charity’s history. We’re encouraging all of our supporters to pop in to Harrods to pick up a tin of organic green tea or signature blend coffee to help us continue Macmillan’s vital work for the next 100 years.”
The exclusive products are available at the Harrods Food Halls from today or by visiting harrods.com|.
