Have you ever wondered what your favourite celebrities want for Christmas? Kevin Spacey, Alan Carr, Dame Shirley Bassey, Frank Lampard, Rick Astley and Joan Collins are just a few of the stars who will be revealing their Christmas wish lists for Macmillan Cancer Support at the glitzy Macmillan Celebrity Stocking Auction.
The auction will take place at the Grosvenor Square JW Marriott Hotel on Wednesday 7 December in a bid to raise over £200,000 for Macmillan. 80’s pop legend Rick Astley will be treating guests to a hit parade of classics including Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever. Rick will be joined by Macmillan Stocking Auction host and Macmillan Ambassador Magic 105.4 presenter Neil Fox.
With the theme of this year’s event being ‘a touch of gold’ each of the dream stockings will contain an item of gold as well as high end luxury holidays and money can’t buy experiences. Other celebrities supplying a stocking include Damian Lewis and Helen McCrory, Sarah Harding, Denise Van Outen, Jenny Eclair, Arlene Phillips and Antonio Carluccio. Tickets (£125) are available from macmillan.org.uk/stockingauction| or 0207 840 4800.
Money raised on the night will help Macmillan Cancer Support improve the lives of those affected by cancer - for more information visit www.macmillan.org.uk| or freephone 0808 808 0000.
