Angela Sheldrick, Macmillan Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Avon Cosmetics is hosting a live web chat with a Macmillan Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist to allow local women, their friends and families to receive expert advice about breast cancer. Accessed easily via (www.avonconnects.co.uk|) the live web chat will take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday 27 October at 1pm.
Research shows that there are around 550,000* women living with breast cancer in the UK today. Angela Sheldrick, a Macmillan Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist with over 12 years experience at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, will be on hand to give people living with breast cancer, their friends and families, expert advice and support from the comfort of their own home.

Research also shows there are around 30,000** women living with secondary breast cancer in England in any one year. As part of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, the cosmetics company also funds a Macmillan Secondary Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist based in Warwickshire to help women and their families to deal with the emotional stress of being diagnosed with cancer for a second time. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade has raised and awarded over £15million for vital breast cancer research, education and care in the UK.
