Cult fashion label PPQ, MTV presenter and fashionista Alexa Chung and organic queen Jo Wood have all donated original artwork to create a range of six limited edition melamine coffee trays, £25 from www.macmillan.org.uk/coffeeshop|, with proceeds from each tray going to help Macmillan support people affected by cancer.
Alexa Chung's submission shows the inky musings of a British fashionista in New York, Jo Wood’s black and white graphic artwork reflects the inspiration from Jo’s love of 1970’s BIBA and The Art Nouveau movement and cult British design label PPQ submitted four watercolour paintings, featuring their very own Freddie Fox, Oberon Owl, Jackdaw, and PPQ’s now iconic Emanuelle the cat.
Amy Molyneaux, of PPQ said:
'The PPQ team love supporting Macmillan, and wanted to help with this project as getting together for a cup of tea and a chat is part of our life - at PPQ it’s our lifestyle. Socialising is a major part of how our ideas happen when we are creating our beautiful dresses. We hope these limited edition trays sell like hot cakes!'
