Our annual reports provide an overview of our yearly achievements and a transparent summary of our income and spend. Most importantly, they highlight the incredible things you’ve helped us to do to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer.
2011, our centenary year, was a significant watershed in Macmillan’s history. With the help of countless supporters we brought in a record amount of income through fundraising and spent more than ever on our vital services. Our team reached and helped more people affected by cancer than ever before.
We supported a total of 4.9 million people. That included 1.7 million people with cancer, 640,000 carers and 2.6 million others affected by cancer in some way.
We could not have achieved this without the help, commitment and talent of all of our volunteers, Macmillan professionals, campaigners and supporters. Thank you for being a part of Macmillan’s team.
