OPERA|

OPERA (Online Personal Education and Risk Assessment)| is Macmillan’s online interactive tool that addresses people's risk of familial breast and/or ovarian cancer. It is based on the NICE guideline for the classification and care of women at risk of familial breast cancer, June 2004. Find out more about how OPERA works|.

Genetics and cancer resources|

• Access an online BMJ learning module designed to give GPs, practice nurses, hospital consultants and doctors in training a basic understanding of cancer and genetics.
• Cancer genetics programme - read about the 2004-2007 co-funded cancer genetics programme between Macmillan and Department of Health. Eight pilot services were involved in the project, from both primary and secondary care.
