Details of information, courses and resources relevant to the care of older people.
Most people who use NHS services are older people. As such the NHS Practice Guide| for achieving age equality recommends all NHS staff receive training in issues such as falls, safeguarding, continence and nutrition.
Issues such as poorly managed co-morbidities or polypharmacy can impact on someone’s ability to tolerate treatment.
We have compiled details of information, courses and training resources relevant to the care of older people to serve as a resource to health and social care professionals working in multi-disciplinary teams.
