CancerLine helps people living with cancer, their family, friends and carers, find a way through the maze of cancer information and support in the UK. Our advisers help identify information you need and organisations best to provide it. We will listen to your particular issues with empathy and respect, and explain how Macmillan can help. There is a translation service for people whose first language is not English and a textphone service for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Everything you tell us will be treated in confidence. We can call you back by phone or respond to specific questions by email. Where possible we will respond within 3 days, however this may take longer over the Christmas period.

When Macmillan lines are closed
Macmillan's CancerLine is not an emergency service and although we would like to provide 24 hour, seven day a week cover, we do not have the funds or facilities to do this at present. Some organisations have special arrangements for night and weekend cover eg:
